Group lessons are unlike other Obedience Classes because the goals are three-fold. They are held at the park (in the City of Burbank) where you and your dog work on basic obedience including communication, operant conditioning, positive reinforcement, clicker training, creating motivation in your dog, how to properly greet people, not to beg at tables, focus, sit, down, stay, walking properly on a leash and more. The reward is the making of a good dog!
It also includes a "Dog Gym" and socializing between practicing obedience. These breaks help both owner and dog to enjoy the whole process of learning.
This class includes distractions and will be located at the park as well as places within the city where there are lots of distractions. Trainer Q&A relating to your puppy. A 6 week course (6 classes) for $140.
Returning clients may take this course as many times as they want! It's always good to practice the Basics and make new friends.
*Trainer has the right to have dogs with behavioral problems, such as aggression, either stand on the outskirts of the central lesson or taken out of the class for the safety of the other class members.
Beginning Obedience classes are for dogs 5 months and older.
